How the Cadenza Forum works, and how to keep it useful for everyone.
Find the board for your instrument or topic from the forum index, open it, and click New Topic. To reply to an existing discussion, open the topic and use the reply box at the bottom. You need a free Cadenza account to post.
Be respectful and constructive — no personal attacks or harassment. Post in the right board, and search before starting a duplicate topic. Keep audition reports factual. No spam or unauthorized advertising. Moderators review every report.
Every post and topic has a Report link. Choose a reason, add optional detail, and submit — a moderator reviews it. Posts that gather multiple reports are auto-flagged for review.
Audition Report boards include an optional structured form (organization, position, rounds, repertoire, candidate counts, advice). You can post anonymously. Keep everything factual — describe the process, not the people. Do not post private personal attacks, confidential documents, or unverified accusations.
The marketplace is built to protect musicians. Ticket, subscription, and practice-room purchases use Cadenza's secure Airwallex checkout and can be reviewed from your buyer dashboard. Peer-to-peer instrument or gear posts, when available, require a completed profile, verified email, account age, and genuine participation; use safe payment methods for those direct deals and report anything suspicious in Scam Alerts.
Yes — use the Watch button on any topic to keep an eye on new replies.
The Cadenza Forum is now the main discussion home. Old discussion links are preserved where needed, but the public entry point is /forum.
