This is the actual product

Your music program, on one screen.

Every screenshot below is a real Cadenza church workspace — choirs, the dep list, and the organ fund. Not a mockup.

cadenza.work/org/your-church/ensembles
Cadenza church workspace showing three ensembles — an auditioned chancel choir, a handbell choir, and a youth choir — with open seats and join-request counts
Choirs, ringers, and the youth choir — each with sections, rehearsal notes, open seats, and a join-request pipeline into the roster.

The dep list

The organist you called last Advent, on file.

Keep the deps and section singers your program actually uses — with instruments and tags — and post a sub call when Sunday needs covering.

  • Organists, section leads, and brass on one roster
  • Tags you define: evensong, continuo, weddings
  • Post a call, review responses, contact respondents

The sub roster — every dep with their instruments and the tags your program uses.

The music fund

The organ appeal, with a thermometer.

Run the restoration appeal and the choral scholars fund as real campaigns — goal, raised, donor count — with automatic donation acknowledgments.

  • Campaign pages with goals and progress
  • Automatic donation acknowledgments
  • Donor counts your treasurer can read at a glance

Two live campaigns — the organ restoration at 73% and the choral scholars fund beside it.

Blind auditions

The panel scores the voice, not the name.

When you audition section leaders or an organist, each juror gets a tablet view that only ever shows an audition number — identity is stripped server-side.

  • Blind by audition number, enforced at the API
  • Your own criteria and weights
  • A fairness export for the music committee
cadenza.work/jury/panel/tablet
The panel scores the voice, not the name.
The juror tablet — the candidate is “Audition #1”, and that is all the panel is given.

Run your music program on this.

Post a role free today; add the blind audition and the giving rails when you need them.

The alternative

Another season on a phone tree is a gamble.

Every service you cover from memory, and every audition you defend from memory, is a bet the parish doesn't know it's making.

The Thursday-night scramble

The organist calls in sick before Sunday and the dep list lives in one person’s head. With a roster on file, the next call is a lookup, not a prayer.

The vestry’s question

“Was the audition fair to every singer?” With paper ballots, the answer is memory. With blind scoring by number, it’s a record.

The appeal in a drawer

Organ-fund pledges tracked on paper lose momentum between meetings. A live campaign page keeps the thermometer — and the donors — in sight.

Advent and Easter don't move. The programs that glide through them set up in ordinary time.

Hiring 4–12 paid singers this program year? Run them all through one blind audition season →

You run the audition — not just post the link.

Every guild board stops at a listing. Cadenza runs the section-leader and organist audition end to end.

  1. 1

    Candidates submit a prescreen

A prepared solo + sight-singing for singers; repertoire, hymn-playing, and sight-reading for organists — collected in one place.

“AGO, ACDA, NPM and ChurchStaffing post a listing and stop. Cadenza runs the blind audition.”

One season, one church: $299 founding ($499 standing), good for 60 days — no $4,800/yr commitment.

See Audition OS

The singers and organists are already here — and free.

Cadenza is free for musicians, so sopranos, mezzo-sopranos, tenors, baritones, basses, organists, and accompanists keep profiles with their voice part, instrument, location, and availability. Posting your need is free and it surfaces to the ones who fit; searching the musician directory yourself comes with a paid church plan, because that roster is every musician's privacy surface as well as ours.

Built for the way churches actually hire.

Organist chair still open? Promote your search.

A Director of Music or organist opening can sit for months in a thin local market. When you want more of the right musicians to see it, you can promote any published role — the same self-serve add-ons any listing on Cadenza can buy. It’s never required: your posting stays free either way.

from $79

Feature it in worship search

Give your organist, director-of-music, or section-leader posting a ★ Featured badge and a slot in the Spotlighted rail, so more of the singers and organists already searching Cadenza land on it. It does not re-rank the search results themselves — a list someone sorted by date stays sorted by date.

$149

Place it in the weekly digest

Reserve a sponsored slot in the next weekly newsletter emailed to opted-in musicians — a direct nudge to church-music candidates who may not be actively browsing that week. Placements are arranged through our team so every paid slot is delivered.

Promote a role

Post free first, then promote when you’re ready — you pick the listing and the add-on on your own listings page. One-time, no subscription, and never required to fill a role.

The moment you publish

Your role reaches opted-in musicians the instant it publishes

Musicians who saved a matching search and chose instant alerts are emailed the moment your worship role publishes — a targeted email to the people already looking for exactly that role, not a mass blast. Post it and the match goes out on its own.

For every tradition — tuned to how you hire.

Anglican / Episcopal

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free to post?
Your first one is. A claimed church profile and your first worship role posting are free — no card required. Additional postings use job credits ($249 each). Church Essentials adds unlimited worship postings, a verified profile, reduced ticketing rates, and the music-fund tools. The blind Audition OS — in-platform applications, prescreening and jury scoring — is on Church Pro and above, or on a one-time $299 Audition Day Pass for a single search.
How is this different from the AGO, ACDA, or NPM board?
Those boards post a listing and stop there. Cadenza posts the role AND runs the audition: in-platform applications, reference tracking, prescreen recordings, and a blind voice/organ audition with an auditable fairness trail — all the way to the offer.
Can we run a fair, blind voice audition?
Yes — this is the wedge. Audition OS puts each candidate’s recording on your committee’s screen with no name and an anonymous number, so section-leader and organist auditions are decided on the singing or playing, with a defensible record.
We hire paid section leaders every year — what’s the cheapest way to audition them?
The Audition Day Pass runs a whole season’s blind audition for $299 (founding rate; $499 standing), good for 60 days — no $4,800/yr commitment. Post your first role free, then add the pass when you’re ready to audition — once it’s active, open the listing and switch on in-platform applications to start collecting them.
We’re a diocese with many parishes — can we run them together?
Each church runs its own Hiring OS today. On Pro you can put a committee on a search — reviewers score candidates blind on their own panel — so the decision is a team decision. Multi-admin account roles are not part of the church plans; if you need several parishes coordinated in one place, talk to us and we set that up hands-on.
How do recital tickets and donations work?
Ticketing and donations are $0 to set up — just 7% + $0.99 per order. Donors get automatic donation acknowledgments, and you keep gift history and lifetime giving in the patron CRM. Official tax language is available only after Cadenza verifies complete jurisdiction-specific issuer evidence; deductibility depends on local law, and Cadenza does not provide tax advice.
Do we have to sign a contract?
No. Every paid plan is a fixed one-year term billed once, with renewal reminders before it ends so you decide whether to continue. Nothing auto-renews — when the term is up you choose whether to buy another year, and access continues through the period you already paid for.

Post your need today. Audition fairly this season.

List your organist, director, section-leader, or choir-singer opening free — then run the blind audition when you’re ready. No contract, no card to start.
