Report a stolen instrument

The more detail you give, the easier it is to identify. We review every report before it goes live — usually within a day or two. This registry complements, but does not replace, a police report.

A missing serial number does not prevent a report. Leave it blank if unknown and describe distinctive marks, repairs or case details. We may ask privately for photographs or ownership and loss records before publication. Do not put private documents or accusations against named people here.

Your email stays private — we use it only to verify the report and send recovery updates. The public contact is what anyone who spots the instrument will see.
