Wagner's complete Ring Cycle returns — a new Ring conducted by Christian Thielemann with curation by Marcus Lobbes — alongside Rienzi, Der fliegende Holländer, Parsifal, and the stage work Brünnhilde brennt at Friedrichsforum Bayreuth. Beethoven's Ninth Symphony is conducted by Christian Thielemann with Elza van den Heever, Christa Mayer, Piotr Beczała, and Georg Zeppenfeld. For the first time in the festival's history, AI appears on stage as a generative visual force.
